With the new archiving feature, Bosh IoT Insights allows users with admin role to optimize the storage costs for large objects (> 10 kB) which are not frequently used but should not be deleted either. This feature is available for Input History entries. The entries can be archived manually or automatically after 100 days without being used. The archived data can be usually reinstated after 90 days. In case it is urgently needed, the data can also be restored earlier by our support team.
In the UI, the archiving feature can be activated at Admin > Project > Archiving by users with Admin role. Currently, this is available only for Premium plan projects.
