Dr. Dimitrios Alexandrou is one of the Co-Founders and Business Innovation Director of UBITECH responsible for the Corporate Overseas Activities, the Greek Public Sector Tenders and IT Projects, the Private Sector Projects, and the IT Consulting Services. He also leads the business services of AiLabs, a spinoff initiative covering the Artificial Intelligence activities and products. Telecoms tech veteran and serial entrepreneur Carsten Brinkschulte is co-founder and CEO of impact tech startup Dryad Networks. The firm’s large-scale IoT network for the ultra-early detection of wildfires will help to save the world’s forests and fight climate change.

Carsten’s 20 years in mobile network infrastructure includes three successful exits: Core Network Dynamics (acquired by Twilio), Movirtu (acquired by Blackberry), and Synchronica (acquired by DAT Group).

Ioannis Capras joined Bosch in January 2012 as Chief Executive Officer of Robert Bosch Greece. He is the representative for the Bosch Group in Greece with responsibility for Greece, Cyprus, Albania and Malta. Prior to joining Bosch, Ioannis was the Chief Financial Officer for Allianz Greece from 2006, having joined Allianz SE as Regional Manager within the Europe Division at the company’s head office in Munich in 2000. He graduated from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich with a Master’s in Business and Administration in 1992 and has been a member of the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce since 2012.

Dennis is an AI Enterprise Architect in the Central Europe AI Excellence Center and part of HPEs worldwide AI Ambassadors. For more than 10 years now, Dennis has been dedicated to advancing Big Data, IoT, Data Analytics, and AI business at HPE in Germany and Central Europe. In various roles from Presales to Consulting, Dennis has successfully introduced data-related technologies to local sales organizations, partners, and customers – always curiously looking for the next “big thing” for Data-minded organizations.

Tom Katsioulas is the CEO of Archon Design Solutions Inc., and a former member of the U.S. Department of Commerce appointed IoT Advisory Board and current member of the US-EU Semiconductor Traceability and Assured Market Provenance (STAMP) cross-border team global chip traceability initiative. His background includes EDA, semiconductor, electronics, and IoT applications, he specializes in strategy and development of platform-based business ecosystems across the IoT value chain. Tom chaired the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) Trusted IoT Ecosystem Security (TIES), uniting 40+ companies focusing on end-to-end solutions across the value chain chip design and manufacturing. At Siemens, he led TrustChain, a platform for supply chain traceability and security solutions based on secure silicon. Tom’s experience includes technical and management roles at Hewlett Packard, Cadence, Synopsys, Runtime (acquired by Altair) and advised several companies in the semiconductor IP space. He holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UMass at Amherst, a B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Bridgeport, CT, and a certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management in IoT Business Implications and Opportunities.

Jim Morrish is a Founding Partner of Transforma Insights. He is a respected Digital Transformation, Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence industry expert, with over 25 years’ experience of strategy consulting, operations management and telecoms research. Jim is responsible for the addition of the term Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) networking to the lexicon of the IoT, and is a co-author of the Ignite|IoT project management framework for IoT and the accompanying book entitled “Enterprise IoT”.

After her bachelor’s degree in “International Business Management” with international experiences in Abu Dhabi and Hungary, Lisa started 2012 her career within IBM Sales, after doing business development with Cloud Start Ups she took over the key account management role for industrial companies, where she deepened her expertise around the electronics, automotive and manufacturing industry as well as with technologies like IoT, Cloud and AI. In 2017 Lisa moved to the Cybersecurity department within IBM and took over the responsibility for the Cybersecurity channel team in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. She joined Bosch in 2021, now being the CEO of two Bosch subsidies: Bosch Climate Solutions and Bosch Energy & Building Solutions. Since 2023 she also holds an MBA in Sustainable Management and Future Trends.

Dr. Alexander Schellong is Managing Director (GL ) of Cybersecurity at Schwarz digit, the 5th division of Europe’s largest retailer and fourth largest retailer in the world with offerings in Cloud, AI, retail media, workspace or Cybersecurity such as XM Cyber and STACKIT. Alexander has extensive experience in strategic consulting, general management, business unit leadership and mission critical international project and operations management in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia for the U.S. government, German government, European Commission, NATO and other commercial clients. In 2019, Alexander founded the non-profit initiative CYBERWOMEN to support networking among and growth of female information security experts from student to CxO across Germany. He studied and taught at Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, Harvard Kennedy School, The University of Tokyo, Tec de Monterrey, Brandt School of Public Policy, Zeppelin University, Salzburg Management Business School, and Stanford University.

Dirk Slama is a Vice President at Robert Bosch GmbH, chairman of the digital.auto initiative, conference chair of the Bosch ConnectedWorld, and Editor-in-Chief of the Digital Playbook for OEMs and manufacturers. He is the director of the AIoT Lab at the Ferdinand-Steinbeis-Institute, where he also holds a full professorship. Dirk has 25 years of project experience in automotive, aviation, manufacturing, and telecoms. He is co-author of 4 successful books and holds a PhD in Information Systems, an MBA, and a Diploma in Computer Science.

Dimitrios Spiliopoulos is the Worldwide Smart Machines Lead at AWS, where he drives global strategy and go-to-market initiatives with industrial OEM customers and partners. With over eight years of IoT expertise across organizations including Vodafone, Telefonica, and Sony Semiconductor, he has been instrumental in the IoT community and in AWS’s IoT Specialist organization for the past four years, focusing on IoT, Edge Computing, AI, and Digital Twins in industrial. A LinkedIn Top Voice and recognized thought leader, Dimitrios has been named among the Top 100 Manufacturing Sector Advocates by Manufacturer.com and featured in Onalytica’s Who’s Who in IoT. He serves as an adjunct professor for IoT at IE Business School’s MBA programs since 2018, regularly speaking and writing about Industrial IoT, Smart Manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 transformation.

Apostolos Thasitis is Business Development Manager at Bosch Greece. He has 20 years of experience in sales and engineering functions of manufacturing, industrial automation and machinery. Currently he is driving AIoT digitalization activities of Bosch Software and Digital Solutions in the region. In his role he has managed several digitalization initiatives in various domains like Industry 4.0, IoT, Smart cities and e-mobility. He holds Engineering degrees in Electronics and Control Systems, an MBA and has mentored several start-ups in Greece and the UK.

Theodore Varelas is the Director of Strategic Initiative at the Digital Security and Identification Business Line within the Connected Secured Solution Division at Infineon Technologies.
In this role, he is responsible for identifying and exploring emerging technology and business venture opportunities. One of his areas of interest is securing the circular economy.
Prior to this role, he held product marketing and management positions within the automotive and security controller lines of business at Infineon.
Before joining Infineon in 2012, he held various business development and general management positions. He has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
Theodore Varelas is an INSEAD Alumni and holds a degree of Master of Engineering from Carleton University, in Ottawa, Canada, and a diploma of engineering from the University of Patras, Greece.
Theodore Varelas was one of the founding members of the Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Association.

Eric joined ENISA in 2019 following a career in the private sector. He is in charge of the technical coordination of activities related to conformity assessment, and he leads the development of the cybersecurity certification schemes for cloud services and for European digital identity wallets. Before joining ENISA, he worked at several large companies (NXP, Oracle, Gemalto) and smaller ones (Trusted Logic, Prove&Run), in positions ranging from research to product management, as well as security evaluation and consulting. Eric holds a MS from Florida State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Marseille.

Andreas Wolter is the Regional Head for Bosch Software and Digital Solutions in Europe. After completing his business studies in Würzburg, Germany, he worked in leading sales positions for different global companies like IBM, Infosys and Capgemini. He joined Bosch in January 2022 and focusses on expanding SDS footprint in Europe.

Kai Hackbarth is Head of Products and Solutions Europe at Bosch SDS. In his prior role Kai was Business Owner Industrial at Bosch.IO. He has more than 23 years of experience as an Evangelist & Product Manager with a focus on IoT middleware and device management in many different domains, such as Smart Home, Industrial IoT, Automotive.
Kai has been active in various standardization initiatives. He was in the Board of Directors and Chair of the Residential Expert Group at OSGi Alliance as well as Chair of the Over-the-Air Special Interest Group at the Industrial Internet Consortium.
Kai was among the Onalytica “Top 100 IIoT Influencers” in 2020 as well as Onalytica’s Who is Who in IoT report 2022 in the category Brand employees.
