The following service changes to the Bosch IoT Suite will be implemented by January 31, 2021:
- Service termination of Bosch IoT Suite for Software Updates: device management and software update functionalities will in the future be provided by the newly launched and more comprehensive Bosch IoT Suite for Device Management. This offers additional functionalities such as large-scale device connectivity, digital twins management, and advanced edge computing capabilities.
- Service termination of Bosch IoT Analytics: the cloud service will no longer be developed as a stand-alone. User demand for even more comprehensive analytics functions is high. For this reason, we are expanding our activities on analytics topics in 2021 beyond a single service. As a first step, it is planned to perspectively integrate the anomaly detection functionalities of Bosch IoT Analytics into the Bosch IoT Insights service.
Bosch IoT Suite for Software Updates
With the general availability of Bosch IoT Suite for Device Management, we have decided to discontinue Bosch IoT Suite for Software Updates. With Bosch IoT Suite for Device Management, users, such as device manufacturers and administrators, enjoy a feature-rich integrated solution for device and software update management throughout the entire device life cycle. Bosch IoT Suite for Device Management offers additional functionalities such as large-scale device connectivity, digital twin management, and advanced edge computing capabilities.
Bosch IoT Analytics
The Bosch IoT Analytics cloud service simplifies the task of analyzing field data through anomaly detection. Since there is a high demand from users for even more comprehensive analytics, the functionalities of Bosch IoT Analytics will be incorporated into Bosch IoT Insights, the IoT data management service of the Bosch IoT Suite. Bosch IoT Insights collects, processes, and stores IoT data for further analysis. Once stored, the service allows users to decode, normalize, enrich, and clean IoT data. It also provides standard and user-defined dashboards to visualize data. In addition, Bosch IoT Insights features interfaces to common third-party data analytics tools such as MATLAB, Excel, and Tableau.
Your existing subscriptions to “Bosch IoT Suite for Software Updates” and “Bosch IoT Analytics” will end on January 31, 2021 after the termination process; no further action is required on your part.
